ME, MY WORLD AND THIS BOOK

So, before we get on with PART ONE; TRADING FOR A LIVING, let me give you an insight into me, my world and the reasons behind the writing of this book.
My name?s PETE CONNELLY, I have been a highly successful trader in all parts of the financial markets for over 20 years, during which time I have worked for some of THE biggest (and most frightening!) financial institutions in the world. I started out as a junior trader (trading USDollar/Lire!) for a small Italian Bank and ended up (via half a dozen countries) running a multi BILLION dollar trading room for one of the worlds top 5 Banks.
I have traded almost every currency and financial vehicle you can think of and still believe that YOU can trade ANY market successfully, with the right training and guidance. And I mean PROFITABLY!
I have traded some of the largest and most volatile markets you can think of. I have profitably traded, currencies, commodities, off balance sheet instruments and government securities. BUT, let me tell you. This alone does not make me a good trader. I have ALWAYS been profitable, I have seen most of the really dangerous scenarios in the markets, I know what to trade and what to steer clear of until you?re experienced enough. Note what I just said. NO market is out of bounds to you. But FIRST you must learn a solid and profitable trading style BEFORE you wander off into the more esoteric areas of the financial markets. Plenty of time for that once you?re profitable and have a nice bank balance!

Why should I teach you my secrets? Because they?re not really secrets!

The problem is very VERY few of you are EVER going to get the chance to work for the sort of organisations I did, and so you just will not get the chance to learn from the very best.
But I can show you the pathway, the short cuts that will save you a lot, if not ALL of your hard earned capital.
There is plenty of profit out there for everyone, it won?t affect my income if you go out and make a fortune, in fact I genuinely hope you do, it?s all good for the liquidity of the markets.

I will charge you something, because I only give my time free to my charities and because You must realise there are NO free lunches out there. You have to pay for knowledge-get used to that concept- but more about that later.
